I feel like I am a very rare bird here but I (pretty much) always answer my phone.. I don't get very many phonecalls, but when I do I answer them. And I'm only 30! If people started sending me voice memos I would explode. Mostly I just use message apps of various forms, including emails.
If recognise the number and we haven't recently had an argument over their right-wing/cooker beliefs then I'll answer, but don't speak for more than a couple of minutes because if it's that serious it requires kanohi ki te kanohi with beverages.
I hate answering phone calls, even worse when it’s a FaceTime call! 😂 I guess social media has filled the void we used to have now we’re just all overstimulated.
So amusing how different people can be. I hate voice notes with a passion. If we aren't talking directly at least write it down so I can read it in my meeting
I’ve started answering my phone in case it’s Mum’s resthome telling me something dreadful has happened (the don’t consistently use the same number so I have to answer everything). If you call me unannounced, I will be in a state of panic and probably won’t recover for hours.

What I hate is the No Caller ID for important appointments - medical and others - so you can't call them back, you have to wait to be caught, or answer duplicate or triplicate texts and emails to ensure they have reached you. Surely it would be better to ring from a number I can reply to??????

Love to hear from you but the follow me everywhere of a phone is taxing. Voice notes mean I can reintroduce a boundary on my accessibility.

'Tis a shame they ceased operating. I wouldve remained a lifelong, loyal customer!
