"It democratized art" people somehow forget that scribbles and doodles qualify as art, no matter the skill level or effort.
The actual tech that democratized art, is the ballpoint pen. And it does not require supercomputers to function.

Even the worst human writing, the laziest human art, holds infinitely more value than AI art, by mere fact I can converse with its creator and think through their choices as a peer.

Art IS humanness. It should not be done by machines, as if books were dirty dishes and pictures were laundry.

My nerves rebel against my own typing. My mind wanders without restraint. I have no formal schooling in writing, I have taught myself entirely and yet have more to learn. I have spent years disenchanted, not writing a word.
