Look, I'm all for supporting creators/artists/musicians etc. but DMing to promote your work AS SOON as someone follows you back isn't good marketing... it's SPAM! Promote in the skyline and DM only after a mutual shows interest.

I agree with the spammy DM, though; I had to change my settings to "no one" for now. Way too many marketing DMs.
But yeah, it's a shame that you had to completely lock your DMs because of people like that.
