One of my primary school teachers showed us how it is impossible to learn *everything* about *anything* by getting us to do a deep dive on a topic we were passionate about, we had a whole week!
Just poking eternal holes in the idea of inviolate, capital-t Truth.
Then she helped us learn something ELSE about the topic afterwards.
But I run into a lot of people (especially in my analyst role) who just want to know The Answer and... there very rarely is one. It's all about where you want to stop asking questions.
It’s insulation against thinking for yourself. I hate it.
