Any decent coach could make the playoffs with the talent he's had under him, including multiple HoFers. Dude has underperformed significantly throughout his career
I forget which coach said it, but he thought the best thing that for his career was taking a year off before getting back on the coaching carousel. It let him really think about what went wrong, rather than blaming others, etc.
That should be the norm, not hot-bedding from one job to another.
