So your boss pays the smallest possible amount to a company who uses people you’ve never met to decide if you get healthcare. And the more this company says “no”, the more money they get.

There’s a built-in incentive in the healthcare system for providers to perform unnecessary tests/procedures (and prescribe unnecessary medications); in order to increase the bills providers submit to patients/insurance companies.
