Lately, I've been reading a lot of historical novels set during WWII. And as I read about the deaths, sacrifices, losses and pain that was caused by a lunatic fascist, I can't help but be very very sad that people have forgotten their sacrifices and what they fought and died for.
Most of us that are of the boomer age children knew veterans of World War II and we were familiar with the horrors of a country that gave into the madness that resulted in genocide, and was bent on destroying others based on a frenzied nationalistic belief they were superior to others…here we are!
