I appreciate this so much. The unexpected part of having an aging parent who is losing their memory is how alone I feel in it. My only sibling passed away young. My wife is as supportive as can be, but that only goes so far. Itβs a lonely experience.

My dad will be 75 this year. His father lived to 80. I'm acutely aware that time is short. π
