No patents, no problems. We make the world so much more difficult by granting patent monopolies for drugs. Not only do they make drugs expensive, they encourage companies to lie about their safety and effectiveness.

I'm of the opinion that patents can allow the rewards of creative work to go to the originators of that work.
And that a system that allows well resourced legacy entities to pilfer creative work forces originators into a choice between sale and penury.
Are patents being abused to protect legacy wealth today?
And they have carved out subsidies to pay for their employees to do their research...
