Stream commissions are my primary job at the moment. But I only do them twice a week (I've tried 3 days on multiple occasions and it always leads to a lull in customers), and i gotta make sure I'm making enough to get by.

To rip the bandaid off, I'm thinking about raising Black & White to around $50 and Colored to somewhere between $100 and $150. I've had similar prices for normal commissions before, but never on stream.

I definitely can't call these things sketches anymore. They've been straight up completed pieces for a while now.
Plus, I feel like I've kinda got a bit of a premium service here, considering these are commissions getting delivered same-day, within hours.

The price should reflect the quality, so if the premise of these streams being for “sketches” has been dropped entirely, that makes sense. However I think you could remedy that lull in clients by also dedicating certain streams to something like those rapid fire doodles like you did in the past.

I'm of the opinion that artists are underselling all their stuff when it comes to comms, so I am all for you raising your prices, especially considering the specialty of what you do. You're not just paying for high quality art, you're paying for it to be done quick AND live so you can watch along

So I think you upping your prices is totally alright, and I even encourage it lol. Even more so that you're one person, so the whole greedy video game company perspective, by default, would never be a valid lens to view you or any other artist through imo, but I def get why you'd feel like that
