We’ve won the joint third most, even considering that slow start. I’m happy winning it once every ten years or so as long as it means we’re regularly challenging in Europe and the league.

I can't see it with new CL format means that FA cup will be sacrificed every year.

Because the kids will play the early rounds.

That's why I thought the team was good enough for Plymouth.

Hopefully the rest favours us with PSG while Man City look forwards to playing the pilgrims in FA Cup.

Fuck it. If we were still in it, we'd be playing newcastle Wednesday, Man City, in the FA Cup Saturday, then away to PSG next Wednesday. I'm over the moon we lost to Plymouth and get a weekend off.
