Lots of chat about Badenoch & sandwiches today, but it was this bit that caught my eye, and it's hard to say this, but she's sorta right in describing Die Hard as "Christmas adjacent". It's set at Christmas, but it doesn't really have the cosy vibe you would expect from a full-on Christmas movie.

Lethal Weapon would fall into the same 'Christmas adjacent' category. Set at Christmas, starts with a Christmas song…but doesn't carry the emotionally festive sway of something like It's A Wonderful Life.
Obvs I'm referring to the first LW film as it was by far the best!
