In December 2004, I finished writing a book with a tsunami as the backdrop to a dramatic conclusion - a month before the catastrophic Boxing Day/Asian tsunami. Delivery date was Jan 31st 2005. On Jan 2nd, Editor and I immediately agreed a month's extension for a substantial rewrite of the ending!
