Hey there - I actually have a lengthy blog post on this coming. There is so much fear mongering about petroleum jelly. It undergoes an extensive refining process that removes impurities, including potentially harmful contaminants like polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). It is perfectly safe.
