Ooh.. I hadn't considered ITTs, is that a different discipline to Road Race WC? I had classed them both as "road cycling"...

On the lack of track/road WCs in earlier eras, was that not more to do with track being an (amateur) Olympic sport and life bans for anyone as soon as they signed pro contract. Did anyone in that era do road then track WC?

6 day was outside the UCI/WC/Oly system and not bound by the same rules.

Not for a couple of years at least is my understanding. Deals with Sky, Virgin and NowTV have to run their course before TNT can be made available on Discovery+ in Ireland.

On demand cycling ends in Ireland on Thursday.

Sounds like a big mess, because then in 2yrs no doubt they think 30e+ will be the go to price. It baffles me how poor Sky/TNT on demand access is for stuff thats been played already in any sport
