Watching Season 9 #TWD #Richonne again and it pisses me off all over again… Daryl turning on Rick, allowing things to go to hell- as much as I like Daryl at times, what he did these last few days- he didn’t get any heat for that

I need Daryl on his knees, crying and begging for forgiveness from Rick and Michonne. They deserve it from he and Maggie's ass. She started the bs and then dipped after.
I go back and forth with Daryl because he has a big heart and really does love Rick and tf- but he lets his emotions lead him- which gets people hurt or killed over and over. But I need Rick to have some resentment here, even tho it seems Michonne wasn’t allowed to
You have Maggie basically telling Daryl how Rick’s way is better for the future, yet she still goes against him. They hide what Oceanside was doing- bringing a war on them all-
Which leads to Rick’s “death”, b/c of course he has to sacrifice himself for the family. Maggie, I never got over her role, it was all for nothing and then she runs away. if there’s ever a reunion, I need Rick to have some serious resentment for both of them. That needs to be addressed.
And for Daryl to tell Rick, who just lost his son, that he needs to let him go, was pure selfishness. All because he wanted revenge over everything, and wanted to stay the small little group they were in the beginning. Really was a low point in Daryl’s arc
And I bet sure af he didn't say that 💩 to Michonne after the bridge. She would've sliced and diced his ass. She doesn't even know Daryl said that about Carl either, I just realized. 😲
That was a horrible choice of words. I don't think Daryl was being callous with Rick's grief. I think he was saying don't handle this the same way you handled Lori dying. Don't torment yourself with guilt, regret, remorse, anger. Don't hold on to Carl's death, because it will only drive Rick crazy.
Rick & Daryl's friendship hadn't been the same for a while & I don't think a reunion should or will happen the way many want. I think Rick will be thinking more about what happened to Michonne while he was gone & what she had to endure without him & I doubt he'll forgive quickly, if he ever does
In the main show, they never addressed it with Michonne and Daryl so idk if she never knew what Maggie/Daryl did or if she just didn’t blame them- but I’d hope Rick would have more anger over it. I just want more Rick and Michonne so if a reunion is the only way to get it, I’m in lol
If they do a reunion, and it’s the only one, I doubt Rick or Michonne will hold any anger toward Maggie or Daryl. They will likely just hug and be happy to see each other again.
what everyone ignores is that the issues with the saviors, and then Oceanside killing saviors, which led to the saviors causing problems and then the gun fight that drew the walkers, all started with Maggie and Daryl not working towards the bigger picture Rick had.
This is probably how it would play out, but as a viewer and especially a Richonne fan, it’s something that will forever piss me off and needs to be brought up. I’m not saying they have to stay angry over it- but their actions directly led to the events that put Rick on that bridge!!
I don't think Michonne knows the whole truth & it's 1 reason why I didn't like the big time jump so quickly, so much was just pushed aside & never addressed. I think we should have had at least 1 ep dealing with the aftermath of the bridge.
Same, they are the only reason I'll watch again
This! A reunion isn't something I'm bothered by either way tbh but if we do get 1 & it's not addressed then I will be disappointed. I no many people want & are expecting a big lovey dovey reunion but they seem to be forgetting that Maggie & Daryl are a big reason why a reunion is needed
I don’t see any thing other than a lovey dovey reunion happening. I doubt Rick or Michonne would be resentful to Daryl/Maggie. I just don’t think the showrunners see it that way.
If it's in a show where Andy, Danai and Scott control then heck yes it will be addressed. It may not be in depth but it will be. They understand their characters and their fans. As long as GN is only doing sfx or not included at all.
I don’t know. I don’t know if Dandy think Richonne would blame Daryl and Maggie for their separation. I would love to know how they feel about it. I just know actors have a different take than fans sometimes.
I think it maybe addressed & it should tbh, if it isn't then it will be glossing over an important story. Daryl & Maggie have a part to play, plus the Rick/Daryl friendship was a bit rocky at the time. If a reunion happens I personally hope it's brought up, it wouldn't feel right to me if it isn't
I just don’t want you getting your hopes up. I could see them not addressing it b/c I don’t think they see it as a huge betrayal that needs addressing. If they did an w tire show with multiple episodes, they could possibly address it but if it’s just one big reunion - I don’t see it happening!
I don't have it in me to go back to that season as I also get so heated over it. The arcs made no sense & felt rushed to justify having Rick leave alive w/o his wife & kid. They then jump years ahead so that they don't have to dig into the betrayal & everything that comes right after that.
Idk why I torture myself like this lol, b/c it pisses me off every time- it was rushed, and there should’ve been at least a flashback to Michonne going off on Daryl and Maggie.
100% they should have shown the immediate aftermath outside of that torture p*rn episode. I would have rather seen that journey over the Negan/Whisperers mess.
I love the Stalker episode. Beta stealthily entering Alexandria through an empty grave, rampaging through Alexandria Michael Myers | Halloween style! Felt very cinematic.
I liked the idea hated the execution. Knowing that showing Lydia was alive was all it would take for Alpha to lose her power over them made it irritating. Also Carol could have easily gotten to Alpha w/o Negan. Beta was the bigger enemy & even fighting him fell flat.

He let his guilt lead him to betray Rick
I don’t know if he ever did
I know Rick loved Daryl because Rick told him “you’re my brother”.
Daryl never returned that sentiment.
Won’t ever forgive her either
& did Daryl eva tell Carol to just get over Sophia?
Same, they are the only reason I'll watch again
I also hated the concept of "smart walkers" they can climb ladders and pick up weapons 🙄🙄🙄
