Oceanside basically said they thought they had to follow Rick’s rules, but when they saw Maggie hang Gregory and go her own way- they realized they didn’t have to and wanted revenge - the saviors don’t get a pass but It didn’t work b/c Rick’s fam didn’t want it to.
