Nah. We need to have public executions. In so many ways, I like the historic relevance of the guillotine vis-à-vis eliminating "the aristocracy," BUT I think it's more important to emphasize the TREASONOUS nature of their crimes against The People, and traitors are hung by the neck until dead. 💯

I remember. I'm just an Ugly American Liberal, but watching Nicolae Ceaușescu's dictatorship fall in 7 days, and him being executed by #FiringSquad on 8th day, Christmas Day, 1989, was kind of epic. 👏🏻 Quick & neat.
