My sister and BIL and I just started 9-1-1 from the beginning. It's basically an interpersonal soap opera wrapped up in a first responder procedural. A little over the top, but with good drama, good performances, and plenty of fun/funny bits. (We're going to watch 9-1-1: Lone Star, too.)
