Executives will mostly make statements they think are good PR. E.g. Disney may saw a lot of "woke" stuff for marketing reasons, but are just as soulless corpo as the rest of them.
Judge them by their actions, not their statements.
Is it? If success is defined as homo economicus amassing $, then yes, however, if its more notes from the underground where the aim is to inflict damage, then no.
But it doesn't exclude companies where executives have made left-leaning statements that *are* related to their business? Seems like an important omission.
These same market chuds take great chagrin at activist investors and those who instead divest on ethical grounds, such as divestment of the fossil fuel industry, weapons manufacturers and BDS.
