Petty enough for sure, but within the law, and this administration manifestly doesn’t give a shit about the law. And while the City has stood up to the Feds on immigration, I doubt they’re willing to provoke potential violence over the Presidio.

I totally retired from SF to PDX 🤦🏼, and I will say one of the major differences is guns. Even people who’ve never touched one are less likely to be freaked out by the idea here, and I think that’s a major factor in our willingness to brawl.

It's going to be increasingly difficult for anyone to stay "within the law" when "the law" is whatever this band of twits claims it is from day to day, and then they continue to violate it anyway.

100%. Complying in advance isn’t just morally wrong; it’s useless, because the goalposts will keep moving.

It will be interesting to see whether and which institutions grasp that.
