I definitely thought Meet Dave (it's the only hint of a spoiler I have in my review), although also the episode of Doctor Who with Hitler.

Just watched it tonight, and I agree with your review here. It wasn't unwatchable but it also wasn't very good and feels like a failed pilot. Felt much more generic sci-fi than Star Trek. Wouldn't recommend but it's not as bad as some of the reviews.
