The american people. The majority that not only disagrees but is also aware that much of what is going on is unconstitutional. I do know that people speak up, and that cases are brought before the courts. The ultimate test will be if Supreme Court is functioning.
I just take umbrage at the use of "letting." As if we're standing idly by, twiddling our thumbs. We're in the streets as often as possible, raising our voices. Trying to be proactive.
It’s unreal. But they have the police, the judiciary, the military, etc. It’s a bona fide coup. The problem is that 70-80m of the dumbest American still whole-heartedly support it because they hate liberals and foreigners.
It really is very difficult to understand how so much hatred has been unlocked so fast - and how frail institutions are when attacked from within. But even your “dumbest” must be able to see and understand that the government does not work for them. I look forward to see decency restored.
Sadly, they don’t see it because they’re in an information bubble. We’re witnessing the culmination of decades of the right taking over information channels. It started with AM radio all the way through Fox News to Joe Rogan. I don’t know how it gets fixed. Dark times.
