Yes, yes. We planned our trip around the outcome of the election. I refused to visit any red states. Another will only do direct flights. (From Tampa) We did Quebec City and Montreal. I had brushed up on my HS French but learn "Bonjour, tu parles anglais" and everyone is accommodating. Got snow!

My friend sold his place in Canada about 10 years ago. He sold it other US citizens. Guess they changed the law since then.

It’s not a law yet but it is a problem, mostly foreign corps buying up housing and jacking up prices, I’m sure it’s going on there too. They’re working on limits.

I want to but need to renew my passport…stuck right now because I was STUPID and changed my name when I WAS married. Now divorced and I need proof of my name change. I’m considering changing it back to my maiden name but it’s gonna be a hassle.

I went to the pet store to buy food for our dog this afternoon. The product we buy is made in Canada. I told the manager I was expecting to pay more in the future. Without missing a beat, she said “But what about the price of eggs?” She knew her assignment. Congress and the Senate do not.

Canada is beautiful! Can't wait to visit again. Much of my family came to US from Canada. Ancestors came from France to Canada in 1600s, so I feel a close connection. Can't wait to visit again.

Given True has declared war, I think all Americans should need a visa to enter Canada until all of these tariffs are fully removed!
