I agree with you! Him in this role is closer to Erwin than anything I have seen! Not just the look but his demeanor too, so polite and calm and curious and always have his own agenda. Him as Magneto is also good but the hair and eye colour is not the same as Erwin.

You should! I watched each of his movie several times and enjoyed it everytime.
If there is anything I can suggest, David reminded me especially of Erwin in fic The Companion, where he is a host and always acted polite and happy to serve. So maybe you would like to check that out too

I actually read that recently! You are right, Companion Erwin really was kind of fascinating, the best part of that fic. But Erwin being so calm, polite and soft-spoken while having so much authority was something I also liked about his character in the canon universe
