Oh the original is so good..... But NGL, I *kinda* prefer Zero Mission over the OG. The QOL improvements were *lifesaving*, and the boss fights were so much fun!
I agree, though despite how much I like ZM, I feel like people should still play the original 1 and 2 in order to fully appreciate 3. Then the remakes. Btw, I don't usually like remake soundtracks, but ZM was AMAZING. FF:DoS too; I don't know how to explain it at the moment though 😆
While 8 was a GREAT game... XI is the best, hands down. I only suggest playing it if you have 80+ hours to spare, though. Also, I suggest you play the Definitive Edition... It adds a bunch of story, a swappable soundtrack, and if you're feeling nostalgic, an entire 16-bit version of the game!
