actually i think this works best as it’s an area of visual rest compared to the focus point above. our eyes are naturally attracted to areas of high contrast which in this case is the head/upper part, so the viewer keeps coming back to the focal point

I know this probably isn't related to it, but it made me think of a Medieval style Alice in The Wonderland RPG or something, and Ser Pounce of Rivaombrosa just need a watch of some kind to made him into the White Rabbit :b
