At the moment it looks like either we get half his wages off our books for 5 months or we pay his the full wages while he sits on the sidelines. I guess it’s kind of a lose/lose scenario. 🤷🏻♂️
I know Utd gave him a contract and must honour it, however, the lad is financially secure. To get the move he wants he could take a drop in salary. Football is a short career. If happiness to him is more important than money, then that option sits with him.
