Weird. Where we are its open all year round for sport fishermen, it's been a phenomenal year where we usually go.

I'm pumped to hear it! That's why those areas are protected for sport fisherman. I feel like I can only say so much, but there are people fishing commercially that don't follow all the rules and are catching much more than your average licensed commercial fishermen. Such a bummer!

It's crazy. Fishermen who usually catch thousands of pounds only bringing 2-300 to the dock is crazy. And most of those are already allocated to restaurants and pre-order. Bummer for customers who'd love them at home or straight from the dock.

I do know there's been word of boats fishing in restricted areas and they are catching the prawns... but who knows exactly. I want to go out and be a spy on the ocean lol
