Thanks to some risky climbing, a chainsaw and rope, me and the neighbour safely felled what was left with a degree of good fortune. Spent most of today trying to clear neighbour's garden (into mine) and chopping up into manageable pieces. Not what I planned for my weekend.

In hindsight, a good job I wasn't at Cardiff, as I'd originally planned a few weeks ago. Albeit what a couple of goals by Kieffer. Another 3 points with key players missing. Never say die.

It's mine. I'd rather sort direct as insurers will take ages and together we've avoided emergency tree care etc and premium increases.

Although I did manage to volunteer at Millhouses Junior parkrun this morning. They appealed at yesterday's parkrun, so put my name down. Then yesterday's calamity unfurled, but I wasn't going to drop out. Fair play to the young uns, in freezing sleet and rain.
