I had a friend who came back from 12-step treatment (a famous, expensive treatment center in AZ) convinced she was a survivor of satanic ritual abuse. She had insane stores all of the sudden. She drew me in; I didn't want to not believe her. I never knew if she believed herself. I blamed the center.
