I read recently (and have been thinking about ever since): “The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination.” - Sal Di Stefano
It's very fitting for this day and age. Although, I do feel this is probably always apt for those looking for an easy way out. Fast forwarding through the impish, tedious yet wildly important tidbits. Youth wasted, as they say.
Struggling with it this weekend. It takes three times longer to grade when I have to pause to investigate suspected AI use, gather evidence, and contact the student. It's exhausting. Wondering if this would connect with at least a few of them.
