Not dreadful! It’s woodworking, so I enjoy it. But it is physical, so I am finding the idea of more woodworking when I get home is tough. I’m sure I will figure out something that works for me, but it may take a while
Oh, I get it! If I went back to a 40hr a week out of home job again I'd be exhausted have no time for anything. That work life balance is real. Best to you!
There are so many projects ASIDE from my actual job that it’s not making life any easier. But if I don’t do it, it feels like I haven’t been faithful to my ideas. I don’t want them to rot.
Currently doing 50 hour weeks at a place an hour and a half away from my house but if I don’t work on My Projects on the weekends I start to feel empty inside 💀
Thank you. Been doing it for years now. Plus being a husband, father (now grandpa), and playing gigs with my band.
It doesn't really get easier. But you adjust. You make the time for each of those things. You make it work. Many blessings to you. You've got this!
I just started a full time job last week and the idea of coming home, going to the basement to do more work is a lot. Plus you know eating, enjoying my family and dogs and cats. Sleep. Going to be an adjustment
