I've let my Medium subscription lapse. I'd posted around 50 or 60 pieces in the previous couple of years but didn't get much response (perhaps because they didn't promise $10K a month residual income with a few simple writing tricks) and around half a dozen didn't get a single read, so I gave up!

I took all my writing off of Medium because of the Paywall and it being part of the walled garden that a certain character put it behind along with a social network that sounds like a drug. I could not justify people not being able to read my words while not getting any of that myself :( .

Don't know why I included that $ promise line. Perhaps because I do still receive daily newsletters from Medium with that kind of article at the head. No idea why any algorhythm (sp) would have included me since I've never read that type of subject. However, tried to read your piece but was blocked!
