Replace underwear with appropriate size disposable underwear, and make sure the bathroom has a bigger trashcan with a flip top/comparable lid.
This is a normal part of aging and caregiver/hospice work.

I 100% get how difficult this is, for pretty much everyone involved.
I have vivid memories of being in a full body cast, for MONTHS, and i needed help with everything... it's very upsetting.
The word diaper never leaves my mouth, ever.
Also big hugs to you, caregiving for our parents is hard hard hard in so many ways.
