Nope! It came down to Sgt Wilson and Captain Mainwearing. (Are con players averse to playing leadership types?) I ended up with Mainwearing.
Scenario set-up was simple. The platoon were tasked to use Jones’ converted butcher wagon to transport some injured American troops.

(Yes, I tried a well timed “Stupid Boy”. He was NOT playing fair.)

Transported injured to airfield. German attack. Forced onto a plane to escape. Magic Portal. Parallel airfield with strange things happening and monsters. And I was in charge.

I found the whole experience more challenging than enjoyable.
Have you ever made a bad choice when selecting a pregen at a convention?

The art of playing the leader is - of course - to play them incompetently and let the other characters outshine you. In #DnD charge in and get bogged down fighting the Ogre or Dragon whilst others nip about.
