Bunnies ravage my garden! We have planted clover. I do have to do the little wire fences around things to keep them from being utterly destroyed..... I think the mama returns each year to have her babies. It's both cute and annoying.

I'm sorry. Bunnies are cute, but watching them destroy your garden must be frustrating. I'm glad you use wire fences for some protection. Some people plant things with strong smells nearby that they don't like such as allium, lavender, mint, sage, marigolds, and/or catmint etc to deter them. 🌱

Awwww. We have a yard rabbit too. She hangs out with the quail and squirrels in our yard. She’s had several batches of babies who move on but she stays. And yes, Oregon quail are massive.

I'm sorry. Some put a wire fence a couple inches underground so they can't dig and at least 12" high so they can't get over it. And or place plants with strong odors like lavender, marigolds, allium, sage, mint etc around them. Use strong smells like crushed garlic, crushed onions, etc around them.🌱

I've had great success using the liquid form of this product to deter squirrels from digging in our big flower containers. I spray it around the rim of the planter. It stinks, big time, but is highly effective and is a natural animal repellent-no harm to critters or the plants.

I live in New York. We don't have a long time planting season. I do have a large vegetable garden that we had to fence. In because of our deer population. But I don't mind the deer nibbling on the rest of my yard. It's a small cost to the pleasure I get from seeing them.

That's so nice that you let the deer nibble on a part of your yard and your vegetable garden is safe and fenced in. Deer are very smart and beautiful. We have some in our area, but they don't venture too far from the woods by our house. 🌱

I've lost some shrubs, now I try to buy deer, resisted plants and shrubs. My vegetable garden has a 12ft high fence around it. I live on eastern long island new york, we have a large population of deer. I even see them by the ocean. And they swim across the bay to the mainland. But they live here.

So true. They can't get enough of dandelions! Isn't it amazing how huge groundhogs get before hybernation? Chuck jiggles when he walks. The first time I saw the change I thought he wasn't going to fit into his den hole. I was surprised again when he came out in the spring because he was SO thin. 🌱

People in rural/ cities, I NEVER have conflicts or need fences to keep the little ones out. I dont put food in my trash. I feed it to the animals. Give them dog food. Clean water. Corn for the deer. Extra veg for them all. Well fed animals dont do damage. LEARN TO SHARE THE EARTH. Balance is key.
