Growing more accustomed to a dad life as a gamer this year, I enjoy the little bits of gaming of whatever I'm in the mood for, no matter of it's new or old. I treasure my collection and look forward to both replaying the familiar and experiencing undiscovered backlog eagerly awaiting me.
Once you find the right flow for you, it's a complete game changer. My psp got a great workout this year next to GBA sp, even with a bit of 3ds. While those have no actual data like steam/switch/ps4 i'm still glad for the unforgettable experiences
The only thing I wish I was able to do more of this year (aside from just more time to game in general) would be PC mouse and keyboard stuff. The baby is too crazy to have in my office so I can't really do much of that.
Take it from someone who also hardly plays new releases, you'll come to appreciate gaming more when you go at your own pace. It's overwhelming to keep up with so much & letting go of that is liberating. Play what you want, when you want, when you can 💜
