Not to bang on but I am really proud of doing it

My family initially tried to discourage me because they were worried people would recognise me & be transphobic to me

The opposite happened, I got messages from people who went to a match & were happy to see someone talking about being trans there

Thank you! It definitely hasn’t solved anti-lgbtq+ bigotry in football by a long shot but I think it made a bold statement of that we are here in the stadium with you (to the cishet supporters) and you are not here alone (to the queer ones)
