I went up to Los Alamos and found that house, it's at the end of a nice cul-de-sac. If I didn't mind the radiation pollution from all over the Los Alamos region, I wouldn't have minded to grab that house when it went on sale once, but, radiation (and long drive times to anywhere) said, nah.

I worked in animation continuity and years later did some extras work in Vancouver. Obviously bored I couldn't help but see all the stuff in plan sight. Look past the gaudy colors and retro glasses on the background actors and you will see skis circa 2010 everywhere in Hot Tub Time Machine.

my all-time favorite example- the Twin Peaks Pilot shot through a glass entry way in the sheriff's station and you can easily see David Lynch reflected.

The interesting part: episode 2, they had an actual sequence of folks removing the glass. I've always assumed it was to prevent more reflections

I’m pleased to say that NO ONE has yet to ask me to reveal the artist who did the shot. (Yes, I know whose shot it was. No, I won’t tell you.)

The whole point of the piece is that mistakes happen all the time in movies and that’s a fact of life. We’re all a team, doing our best.

Another extremely common movie mistake which so so SO many movies have the list would be huge, is the reverse-shot of a conversation between two people, where person A is talking then stops, but camera behind them clearly shows person A's jaw still moving. Note to directors: WE DO SEE THIS ALWAYS.

Surprised you didn't mention the "All The President's Men" gaffe showing Redford going out to an outside phone booth to call Deep Throat, and when he enters the phone booth, the reflection on the door clearly shows the camera crew staring right at Redford -- and they left the gaffe in.
