You might be reading too much into that statement. The cult followers have already been whipped up into an anti-Ukraine, pro-Putin frenzy. Putin is their hero. He hates gays & other minorities as much as they do & persecutes them as much as they wish they could. He leads a white "Christian" nation.

But, as a European, I'm absolutely terrified of what outcome this will bring. I do not trust Trump. I am genuinely scared of the state of the world for me and my children.

Not really wrong. Europe should have the 2nd most powerful army on earth capable of standing against the US in the future if the need ever came up. The over reliance on the US is a mistake. NATO is great and should continue but you see what happens when NATO states dont have your interests in mind.
