It was the one bookstore in NY where one could reliably walk in and grab an out-of-print copy of Talbot Hamlin's "Greek Revival Architecture in America"—for example.
I tried this about six years ago.
Those days are long gone.
Heard from insiders that mgmt is actively discouraging o/p purchases.

Really? Haven't been there in years but it of course used to be one of my go-to places😢
