Sorry that you had to go through this, you don't deserve to be threated like this. I don't understand people that do an 180 the moment you say something that's not affirming for them. Artists deserve to be credited, and you're such a wholesome person too. 😭
i'm actually SO baffled like why did they really want to show me yet at the same time got offended i asked for credit. did they expect me to be like 'wow this is so good the art should belong to you now'😭
I can tell you what he was thinking. He hope you would say: "oh my your Animation made my art so incredibly awesome. You know what? Just keep it i am giving you the right of ownership. Do whatever you want with it." They probably try stealing from you again. Please be careful.
maybe they just wanted me to praise them for animating it 💀 which is genuinely cool! if they had just.. not claimed to have drawn the entire drawing🧍♂️
yeah... honestly i'm not too bothered by stuff like this happening to me (i'm more straight up confused at what was going through their head than actually offended) but it does drive me up the wall thinking there are people like this out there doing this to other artists too😭💀💀
i usually just brush off ppl editing my art without permission and i never even ask to be credited as long as you don't act like you drew it or profit off it bc it typically isn't rooted in bad intentions. but the 180 i'm LMAO.. fellas is it rude to ask ppl not to claim your art as their own
I’d say that’s more of a basic artistic/common courtesy to not take credit for someone else’s art, LOL. Don’t know what planet they live on, but they seem like they wanted to get caught by directly writing to you and asking you to check it out. 😭
😭 i tend to give the benefit of doubt bc most of the time that people do stuff like this with my art, it really is just out of not knowing any better and it does make me happy when people like my art enough to use it..! but yeah there's just no excuse for this person's response🗿
