The winner in the Trump/Zelenskiy debacle was whoever briefed JD Vance to push Zelenskiy for thanks. Ukraine owes America huge gratitude. Zelenskiy owes Trump and Vance nothing but spit for their lies. But Vance knew that refusing to thank Trump can be cast as Ukrainian ingratitude for US aid.
