Idea: Before you start to negotiate, let Russia solemnly pledge and sign that Ukraine has guarantees to be independent and is part of Europe.

As a European, who repeatedly has been told by the US that Europe isn’t doing enough and needs to take responsibility despite Europe having supported Ukraine a lot more than US, I have to ask. Why the fuck isn’t the US already sanctioning Russia? Why is there more sanctions to put in place?
