180,000 (or so) a month is the average number of people leaving/losing a job and switching/finding a job.

Deaths/retirements/lay-offs/business closures take away jobs.

Immigration/graduation/business openings add jobs.

The market is always in flux...151,000 gain is about a net 30,000 loss.
