I am slowly realizing this. Nobody from US was responsible for the pandemic and the doctors and scientists in US did whatever they could. I didn't expect that the animosity against vaccinations, masks and lockdowns will results in such hatred against science and scientists - ThreadSky

And it’s all because the President in 2020 forgot about “the buck stops here.” He could’ve single handedly prevented all of this.

I agree that Trump administration started and encouraged mistrust and even hatred toward scientists and doctors during the pandemic in order to hide their own incompetence.
My point was that I cannot see how is this doctors fault.

My point was mostly infrastructure related esp. global infrastructure. Vaccine and pharma infrastructure in many regions was very lacking and it’s baffling there is still 0 plan on fixing that

That’s like the biggest issue in 2021, the deployment was too slow to many regions
