since when is a character meeting another character and letting their advice marinate a "magic" solution rather than bog-standard character-driven storytelling??? the Crystalized PTSD is really flaring up in this community today

I like random character crossovers, such as Morro and Arin, and unexpected character interactions can lend itself to interesting storytelling possibilities
Bringing back an old character to push forward a new characters story is absolutely not a risky thing to do. Like that is the safest possible route to take
Many people dont wanna his comeback - bring back him is taking rise, imagine u bring back character which half of fans dont wanna see - isnt taking risk?
Not to mention, they're both former students, one of Wu, one of Lloyd, who are very similar people and their students may face the same struggles. Wu put a lot of hope and praise onto Morro, and Lloyd put a lot of praise onto Arin, and both later turned against them. There's a lot to work with there
exactly! it doesn't have to be a "perfect" parallel— Morro doesn't even need to know about Lloyd! all it takes is "I threw my life away to spite my master after he let me down. He was still learning too, and what he denied me was nothing in the face of all he gave me. Don't make my mistake"
Their situations aren’t all that comparable tbh, Arin’s story isn’t just about his master being a letdown, it’s about reconstructing his primitive worldview, Morro does not have that at all
realizing the simplicity of your worldview as you grow out of childhood and struggling to replace it with more pragmatic values is a universal human experience!!! Morro's longstanding inability to restructure past "I am the destined Green Ninja. That is my purpose" was the crux of his villainy!!!!
Wu told Morro he would be the Green Ninja, an orphan boy with nobody else but his master to call his family. Lloyd told Arin he would be the greatest ninja to ever live, a boy separated from his family with no one else but his master and team to call family
