While I appreciate the design of the Xbox controller, it's bumpers have a fatal design flaw where the plastic tension clips will break after extended use. I've gone through 3 controllers playing through Dark Souls and Elden Ring.
While they do offer tons of great art they are nonsymmetrical and lack a huge list of modern features present in other controllers. They are not even close to the best controller unless you just want something to look at on the shelf.
I love my Starfield controller! If you’re ever looking for a really cool stand for it, check out Rose Colored Gaming. If they still have it, their Starfield stand is just incredibly cool (IMHO)
THIS PART. I love the dualsense, but that battery life is CRIMINAL. More things should have nintendo battery life tbh. I still remember the time I left my DS (closed) under the front seat of my mom's car, and it was only on red battery power after two days straight.
My wife and I are primarily PlayStation gamers but in terms of controllers, nothing will ever beat the Xbox 360. That will forever be my favourite controller...
Wish I still believed this, but of my last 3 Xbox Series controllers, 2 were DOA and the current one has an intermittent charging fault (also on arrival). It's just a lack of QA testing.
Certainly better than PS5 controllers. I have no idea how my almost 30 year old Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) controller still works flawlessly, but my 3 yesr old PS5 controller is effectively a paperweight until I buy replacement sticks.
Xbox has best design and PlayStation has best features. The Starfield controller is just 👌🏻 I’ve got one and don’t use any of the others……my PS5 one is just some cosmic red or something
This is my primary controller. I bought two of them they are insanely well made for the price. Like Hall effect joysticks are still pretty pricy and then 8bitdo says watch me do em for cheap.
Ya I like them a lot. Had trouble with the Bluetooth in one of them messing with a Bluetooth headset, but as far as performance, price, and design, they can't be beat!
Though on second thought I did have a problem with it. It messes with Bluetooth. I had weird problems with my headset disconnecting in bg3. got the green one cause it has a dongle and the problem stopped. So, caution with the pure Bluetooth ones if you use other bt devices
Xbox controllers are fantastic, but how many does one really need? Unless, of course, you're building a collection and displaying them in a cabinet because let’s face it, they do look awesome!

I bought a pro controller, and it was the most my disappointing purchase of 2023. Your milage may very.
Where my crew at? 💖
And I agree….Xbox DOES make great controllers!

Seriously, I've had so many problems with Xbox controllers. I'll never use another one again.
Though Nintendo has so many I've wanted to collect too
100% agree!
