That's exactly how I felt like from TWWFTE through to TPOTD it did feel we were treated on Sunday nights to a small film it's like the most high budget looking low budget thing ever ....beautifully done and Whittaker's era will get it's flowers soon! Michelle Gomez proved a female master worked deliciously and I adored that Whittaker took it on I related so much to her incarnation. The backlash and misunderstandings about it added my love for her in many ways it feels special we had her for 31 adventures ...brilliant times

Agreed! I was skeptical of a female version of a traditionally male character, but she was an awesome Doctor. She captured the essence of the Doctor without the annoying alpha male bullshit.
